How to read this invoice
- Header: your business name, logo and contact details, and the invoice number and date.
- Bill to: the customer being charged.
- Line items: each product or service with quantity ร rate. Tax % is applied per line.
- Subtotal, discount, tax and total: the total is the amount due.
- Due date and terms: when payment is expected, for example Net 30 means 30 days after the invoice date.
- Notes: payment instructions, warranty or other terms.
A Plain-English version isn't offered for invoices because the invoice itself is the plain record. This guide replaces it.
